FERNDALE 4X4 TRAILS & OUTDOOR ADVENTURES Ferndale is an active cattle, merino sheep & angora goat farm in the Henderson valley just outside Cathcart in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, which is a Malaria and Bilharzia free area. Ferndale has various 4x4 Trails, all graded between 3 & 5. Ferndale has been in Drive Out magazine's Top 10 from 2004 - 2006 and was placed on the "Roll of Honour" in 2007.  Activities offered by Ferndale include: 4x4 Trails, microlight flips, camping, caravaning, game & bird viewing, fishing, horse riding, canoeing, abseiling, river tubing, mountain biking, quad biking, clay pigeon shooting, hiking with caves & bushman rock art and many more exciting activities. Hunting is done during the winter season as part of population control and culling. Come experience our top rated 4X4 trails, there's sure to be much excitement! Facilities available for camping, caravaning or stay in our self-catering chalet. Game viewing with the experienced locals, as well as fishing in our dams & rivers.
